Companies with good brand management often have an online visualise library component. My firm has seen some examples and would desire to consider this in our new on-line mark management site. While writing the specs. I've realized that this is a bit more difficult than originally explained to me... Question 1:How do other companies handle images libraries with the following capabilities: - multi-user (i e. every company employee) find - multiple sized images for download- combination of stock photography & custom photography- variety of licensing & usage information. Any case studies or general advice would be useful. challenge 2:We undergo the software identified for the system itself and photographers lined up for the custom work (as well as photography guidelines). But with respect to the have photography - does anyone have an idea of the costs associated with purchasing large quantities of have images (say from Corbis or a similar company) that are licensed for use by entire companies - or if it's even possible? After much research both on this site and on the web. I am throwing this out to the forum for back up - 'create I'm not finding answers anywhere else! Any references war stories or advice would be gratefully accepted! Cheers!
Robert. Check out LuckyOliver () It's a community of Photographers. Artists and Designers who buy and sell images on line. They're getting thousands of new images everyday from all over the world. They're all screened for quality and go away out around a endeavor. You purchase tokens from them that you can use to transfer images. The tokens are good forever so you don't need to rush to use them. wish this helps!-Hunter
Thanks for all the suggestions for photo sourcing sites. I think I'm all set with general sites but if anyone has specific info about multiple user licenses that would be great. I am comfort very interested in hearing any answers to my first challenge if possible. Thanks!!!
Steph,We created a searchable database in FileMaker and then distributed a file naming standard to all users. It contains origin usage rights variations etc in the data. Writing the standard based on your needs and variables is the toughest part. I act that back.. the hard part is getting everyone to agree to the standard! Creating a searchable database is pretty easy after that if you know FileMaker or Access very come up. There may even be a template available. You might be to build in a password or authorization go for restricted usage visualise downloads. Filemaker does have capability to create on the web as well. We have provided online access to our clients so they know what we have that was shot by our photographer and what was provided by the HQ agency (usually in the EU). BARQSELMARQ Brands' Best Friend
